Yesterday was a very fitting tribute to my Dad Giuseppe Florido he would have been honoured. Everything went so smoothly and you have been so respectful and supportive throughout this whole period. From the very first moment I spoke to you on the phone after Dad passed I have felt supported and I appreciate your personal touch. You kept me informed every step of the way and it helped being able to speak to you each day. The day you came to the house you gave us all the time we needed even though it was Sunday and a long drive for you. I am so glad we used your company for Dad's funeral. Even Father Coleman commented that you did a great job!All the best.
Thank you so much for everything. The day was a perfect send off for my brother Mark Borg and your daily communication was appreciated.
John you showed immense compassion for myself and my family.XXKind Regards

On behalf of Jeroo Mody's family (that is my son Yaz, daughter-in-law Kermiz and daughter Rashna) I extend my great appreciation in organising and helping me in delivering my sister-in-law Soonu Mody's funeral (Soonu - my husband's sister) which took place on the 21st January at Macquarie Park Cemetery & Crematorium, Macquarie Park NSW, Macquarie Park NSW.
As you know, Soonu passed on Monday 16th January 2017, around 5:00 am, at Sirius Cove Nursing Home. The Nursing Home authorities immediately got in touch with you (and me), as they had all your contact details, given by me in advance.
Your coming over to my place in Mosman, and one of your staff going to Sirius Cove Nursing Home the same day and doing all the paper work was a great help to me.
You also arranged the booking of the funeral for Saturday 21st January 2017, had to leave a few days in between as my daughter was flying out from London as soon as she was given the news.
Also my thanks to your wife Vicki for her beautiful flower arrangement, which my family commented. All this added so much dignity and positive atmosphere to the funeral, the Mody family would call "Funeral" "A Celebration of Life"
Once again on behalf of the Mody family, my great appreciation for your understanding and support in making my dear sister-in-law's funeral (Celebration of Life) so beautiful and dignified. With my best wishes
Jeroo Mody JP

I wanted to write to you to again express my and my family's gratitude and sincere appreciation for how you handled the funeral arrangements for my late Father, Donald John Hunter.
Everything was done ins such a respectful, kind and professional manner and everything went as we had hoped, in fact, better.
From the first moment we spoke on the telephone you were genuine, helpful and honest and in such a time of sadness and turmoil, this helped me and also helped the family as when we later met it was obvious that you not only were experienced and knew what you were doing, but had a kind heart and cared for how the family wanted to see Dad off.
With the greatest level of sincerity, please do accept my thanks for everything you've done for us. lt is a shame we met in such a sad way but you are a professional and you run your company with a level of care I have not seen for many years. The level of support with engaging the RSL, the flower arrangements, taking care of the booking and support with the AV equipment just made the day go perfectly.
I wish you all the very best in your future endeavours and hope your company continues on well in the future to help and support many other families who would be as touched as we were.Kind Regards,
I hope you're well.
I just wanted to send my sincere thanks for everything you have done for my Grandma and family over the last week. The service on Wednesday went exactly as we had hoped and everything came together perfectly. Although I only spoke with you twice before Wednesday, your genuine care and concern for my family during this time and your honesty meant that when I did see you on Wednesday I felt like I was seeing an old friend and felt at ease knowing everything would be fine.
To have someone as caring and professional as yourself with our family every step of the way through what is quite a sad and trying time has been a blessing and we are so grateful for the service you provided. I am so glad Sue referred you to my Mum, we couldn't have asked for anyone better!
My sincere thanks again. My sincere thanks again.
Jessica (Jayne Sullivan's daughter.)

Dear John and staff at Funerals of Compassion.
Firstly I'm sorry for taking so long to write, I'd like to say thank you so much for taking care of my Dads funeral. My Mother was so happy, she had full trust and confidence in you. Mum mentioned that your wife did the flower arrangement, they were beautiful, please pass on our gratitude.
Most of all, thank you so much in helping me and guiding me through the whole process, I greatly appreciate it, as I was very lost that day, it helped so much. I thank your drivers for going out of their way to transport us home.
My Das had a great respect for your parents, they were wonderful people, and I think my Dad would have been very pleased for what you did for us.
On behalf of the Trovato family thank you for your service, May God bless you and your families.Regards,
John, my Mum, brothers and I wish to convey our heartfelt thanks for your support and guidance in arranging Dad's farewell. You listened to our requests, you offered advice where needed and nothing was too much trouble. Your communication throughout was exceptional. The flowers were beautiful and far outweighed my expectations. Please pass my gratitude onto your colleagues. Your service certainly lives up to its name.Thank you,
How can I describe Funerals of Compassion and especially Johns commitment. After using Funeral directors in the past I know that the genuine attitude from this Australian company is the best in Sydney for price and personal touches. I have approached John 3 times in the past few years and recently of the late Carmen Lanzon. Each funeral was approached above what I expected. I would not hesitate in recommending Funerals of Compassion to anybody or families who wants to be treated with dignity and knowing that their loved ones are looked after in their final journal of lifeThank you,
From Jill Rowan Robinson
To John and Staff at Funerals of compassion:
On behalf of Debbie and myself I would like to thank John and Vicki for the special effort and attention you paid to Debbie's Nan's funeral on 18/03/2016.
From when you first came and saw us to discuss arrangements your efforts were so appreciated by us and the whole family.
Nothing seemed too hard or complicated and when any plans by us became complicated you were calm and gave the guidance for the best and kindest result.
Your compassion made us feel as you were part of the family and not just the funeral director. I hope to tell as many people in the future of your efforts, as would this email we have sent you.
Once again thank you John and all those who assisted.
John and Debbie Veitch

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing people from Funerals of Compassion, John, Vicki and Joe for a beautiful and dignified service of my late father Michael Papanikolaou, John you went above and beyond for my family and especially organising the funeral in such a short time to accommodate my brother. I can never thank you enough...
God Bless you All.
Just want to say a big thank you for today. Your business name absolutely suits you perfectly. Throughout the day we felt comforted.
We came home and Sailesh said he had a great feeling with you right from the start over the phone. He had spoken to four others but got a good vibe from you.
This is a very sad and uneasy time for us and we very much appreciate your compassion during this time.
We didn't feel rushed at any moment and felt comfortable carrying out our rituals as per our elders request. Thank you.
We also appreciate the small gestures like the tissues and mint. They came in handy. And we also appreciated you asking us if everything was ok through out the time there.
These sorts of gestures and compassion isn't common in this busy world.
We thank you from our hearts for taking care of us and our Dad.
Please also thank your wife for the gorgeous flowers. It was nice of you to ask me to take them home as I would have otherwise felt it rude to ask. My home looks beautiful and bright now with flowers everywhere. Thank you.
Kripa & Sailesh Rangoons
Dear John and Vicki, David and other members of your team. You all made the Celebration of my son, Antony Healey's life a smooth and easy transition. The smallest detail was attended to, tissues and water for all who attended, the care and consideration before, during and after was above and beyond, my family and friends cannot thank you all enough, if there was a rating for such things, you would get 20 out of 10.
A massive THANK YOU to you, John and the operational staff; a truly demonstrably professional service. If you ever need me to endorse the business, please be at liberty to call on me.
We just want to thank John and David for being so caring before and after the funeral for my dear mother-in-law, 'Pat'.
The funeral was a celebration of her life and everyone mentioned what a lovely service it was. You both made the sad day turn into a beautiful farewell.
I want you to know how appreciative I am for the lovely way in which you conducted my beautiful mums funeral. The flowers were OUTSTANDING. I am just so happy with them and received so many comments on how stunning they were. As far as coffins go, the coffin was beautiful also and am so happy we upgraded. Thank you so much. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to have looked after my mum. Your staff were beautiful.
Sadly this is the second time we have had to use Funerals of Compassion in a little over two years. Our dad died recently and there was no question who we would use after my brothers funeral. John and his team arranged an excellent service for dad. Firstly a requiem mass at dad's local church, and then a memorial service at the crematorium. It was just beautiful. Nothing was too hard. John was simply there for us, making sure we had everything dad and we wanted for his send off. Thank you John for your support of our family at this very difficult time. We really appreciate how far you went to make sure everything is perfect. You took all the stress out of the event and we could just concentrate on dad, which we loved. I've had lots of people ask for your contact details since then, so everyone noticed all the extra little things you arranged.
With our deepest affection,
Jo-Anne and Amanda Ryan, and all of John Ryan's family.
We cannot thank you enough for helping us give Mum a beautiful send off.
You were a blessing in disguise coming into lives at this time and not once did you make us feel that any of our questions or requests were a bother.
The work that you, your wife and your team do is so important Don't stop doing what you do with such caring, compassion and sensitivity.

Please do not think that this note is an afterthought I deliberately and intentionally waited before dropping you a line to thank you for your wonderful professionalism, support, care and consideration, both before and after Carmel's funeral.
I thought, by waiting a while I would be able to express my eternal gratitude in a meaningful way as I had hoped that the emotion of losing her would be less and I could put some words together which were appropriate, but alas, it is not so.
I will be forever in your dept for the professional way in which you advised as to the selection of the Coffin, the perfect balance of the flowers, of the choosing of the Mas Booklet and your ability to just relieve me of the need to do anything other than just accept your assistance.
I could not adequately describe how many people commented on the whole service, that it was just Carmel, perfect with nothing pretentious.
Again, thank you, thank you and God Bless yours faithfully
I had to unexpectedly plan my fathers funeral and two months to the date we had to plan my best friends mothers funeral.. I couldn't have asked for anything more. You went above and beyond the services went smoothly no hick ups no stress. John you have been so good to both our family's.. With all our Thanks

I would personally like to thank John and his staff for their wonderful service, attention to detail and the warm and compassionate manner in which it was given.
At a time when I was not myself and coming to terms with the loss of my father John took the worry out of the whole process and went above and beyond what I would expect.
The service was a wonderful goodby for my father, he would have approved. The flower arrangement was spectacular and the casket was excellent, fit for a King.
David the Celebrant presented a very humane and thoughtful service that many will remember.
Oh and the service was recorded so friends that couldn\'t attend will also share in the service.
Thank you for all the support during this difficult time.
Dear Rocco and John, thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you and your colleagues for the outstanding guidance and reassurance you gave me for my fathers funeral (Norman Prescott). You both went above and beyond with your help right from when I first came to you to the follow up phone call you made to me afterwards. You were all more like friends. I would without a doubt recommend Funerals of Compassion. And the arrangement of flowers were so beautiful on the coffin and it just made me melt. It was a sad time but you were there for us and a thank you to John on the day.

Thank you for the wonderful services you gave my mother Veronica, it was beautiful just as she was, you took the pressure and stress of myself and family in a time of great sadness. Dear John, Vicki and Staff at Funerals of Compassion I`m sorry it's taken a while for me to write these words to you both to thank you on behalf of myself, my brother and extended family for your very sincere love and support during the loss of our much loved brother Kevin and then the unexpected loss of our sister Esma.
We are so blessed to have met you both to guide us through a very difficult time and to give such a beautiful farewell to our loved ones with such dignity and grace.
THANKYOU for not only being there through the funeral planning stage but also when I needed the support afterwards. Your kindness and compassion is unmeasurable. Your guidance was from the heart and that showed throughout the service and with your choice of beautiful flowers.
Your hand of friendship will be enduring.
May the angels watch over you.

To John and Staff at funerals of compassion. Could not recommend these fantastic people high enough. Their sincerity and professionalism was a joy to experience at a very difficult time. The loss of a mother is something we all fear, but when it comes, to have your mum leave with such dignity is a testament to this wonderful group of people. I was previously in a job where I had many dealings with Funeral companies, and this wonderful group of sincere people are a true credit to the industry.
Dear John and staff at Funerals of Compassion, when everything seemed so hopeless,in you walked and helped us through it.
